Sandeep is working at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune. He earned
his PhD (Atmospheric Sciences) in 2018 from the University of Pune, India, where he worked
with Prof. Pradeep Kumar in the cloud microphysics research domain. Before that, he received
a Master's in Atmospheric Science from the University of Pune. He also earned his
PostDoc experience from the University of Notre Dame, IN, USA, where he worked with
Prof. Harindra Joseph Fernando on the coastal fog project (C-Fog). Sandeep's research interest includes
ice nucleation study, cloud and fog microphysics, aerosol-cloud-fog intersections.
